Job summary

BW Design Group is seeking a Construction Senior Project Manager to lead capital projects in the food, beverage and life sciences manufacturing sectors. You will work with in-house design teams, licensed engineers, and subcontractors to deliver safe, on-time projects and manage budgets, schedules, and procurement.

The role requires 12+ years in construction, 8+ years as a construction manager in industrial structures, and willingness to travel up to 50% with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in construction roles (project engineer, site superintendent, PM).
• 8+ years as construction manager with industrial structures.
• Experience with industrial projects in food, beverage, pharma, or related industries.
• Ability to read P&IDs and manage contracts/bids.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate to local area.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects in food, beverage, and life sciences sectors with design teams and subcontractors.
• Oversee inception to close-out, planning, scheduling, budgets, and resources.
• Generate monthly project control reports and manage risk.
• Review subcontractor contracts and bids for conformity to scope and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safe, quality, on-time, cost-effective on-site execution.
• Lead jobsite meetings and manage progress and closeout activities.
• Analyze subcontractor change requests and manage safety programs.
