Job summary

BW Design Group seeks a Construction Project Manager in Denver, CO to lead capital projects in food, beverage and life sciences. You will collaborate with in-house designers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, on-time results while managing budgets, risks, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in construction roles (project engineer, site superintendent, or PM).
• 8+ years as construction manager, including industrial structures.
• Experience with industrial projects in food/beverage/pharma sectors (preferred).
• Experience with A&E design-build firms (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
• Experience negotiating contracts and bids.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD or Revit.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to local area (relocation available).
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent certification
• PM certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects in food, beverage, and life science sectors with in-house design teams and subcontractors.
• Oversee execution from inception to close-out: planning, scheduling, budgets, resources.
• Generate monthly project control reports.
• Manage contract risk, insurance, and notices-to-proceed.
• Create and review estimates from design packages.
• Lead bid package creation, site walks, bids, and contractor mobilization.
• Review subcontractor contracts for schedule/conformity.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier requirements to meet schedule.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and standards.
• Oversee safety, quality, and budget adherence on-site.
• Lead meetings and manage closeout activities.
• Analyze change requests and manage safety.
• Foster client relationships and project execution excellence.
