Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Senior Construction Loan Administrator to oversee end-to-end servicing of complex Commercial Construction loans, including budget setup, disbursements, and documentation review. This role requires strong knowledge of construction lending and title review, with collaboration across loan operations.

You will work with relationship managers, title companies, legal counsel and accounting to ensure loans are properly monitored and funded within approved budgets, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years experience in Construction Loan Administration/Commercial Real Estate.

Responsibilities

• Review the credit memo and loan agreement ensuring proper terms and budget.
• Enter new construction loans and set up budgets.
• Ensure budget line items align with credit approval and Construction Loan Agreement.
• Review disbursement draws within budget and approve draws for disbursement.
• Obtain budget-change-requests approval for line items.
• Reconcile borrower’s construction loan budget to the bank’s records.
• Obtain title insurance date down/change orders for draw requests.
• Order third-party inspection reports and process invoicing.
• Track and follow up on receipt and approval of inspection and title date down reports.
• Monitor the use of borrower’s funds and disbursing funds accordingly.
• Monitor interest reserve adequacy on all accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile Construction Loan Disbursement Report.
• Maintain and monitor current property and general liability insurance.
• Interface with relationship managers, title companies, legal counsel, appraisal department, construction services, accounting and others.
