Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Construction Loan Administration Specialist to support commercial and residential construction lending operations. This temporary role manages construction loan portfolios, ensures compliance with bank policies, lending regulations, and lien laws, and collaborates with internal partners to facilitate smooth loan servicing.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in construction loan administration, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction loan administration.
• 3-5 years of training and supervisory experience.
• Minimum high school graduate, college degree preferred.
• Proven problem-solving abilities utilizing resources available to develop technical and analytical skills.
• Specific knowledge of banking regulations and construction lien law. Familiar with real estate documentation, construction loan agreements, and AIA documents.
• PC proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to construct and troubleshoot spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Initial set-up of construction loan files including contracts, budgets, draw schedules, and monitoring tools.
• Check project tracking is reconciled with the loan system.
• Verify documentation before disbursement of draws (Notice of Commencement, surveys, insurance, inspections, lien releases).
• Communicate with lenders, CBCs, builders to resolve disputes and problems.
• Maintain department procedures, reports, audits, and compliance follow-up.
• Update Loan Policy Manual alignment with policy changes.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards and bank policies.
