Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a Construction Monitoring Specialist, Sr to oversee the construction phase of assigned commercial loans on site in the Midwest. You will coordinate with Relationship Managers, Commercial Support, borrowers, title companies and attorneys to ensure documentation and funding align with policy and budget.

The role requires an associates degree or equivalent, at least three years in commercial banking and strong attention to detail, organizational and communication

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Commercial Support Staff on newly approved commercial construction loans to ensure that all required construction documentation is received, reviewed, and approved prior to closing.
• Facilitate the funding of draws on Commercial Construction loans. Ensure each draw follows loan policy, regulatory requirements, and aligns with budget and percent completion.
• Serve as a policy expert to guide origination teams on policy, procedures, and applicable laws during the process.
• Proactively collaborates to resolve construction-related issues as they arise.
• Communicates with clients, title companies, attorneys, and contractors to explain processes and resolve questions.

Education

Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
