Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in California is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Specialist to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve complex Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. You will provide quality service, ensure coverage analysis and maintain compliance with standards.

Under general supervision, you will coordinate with policyholders, attorneys and experts; manage reserves, subrogation and litigation plans; and use analytical tools to improve payout outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2 years liability claim handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severe claims.
• Provides quality customer service and ensures file quality and timely coverage analysis.
• Interviews witnesses and stakeholders; takes statements as needed.
• Negotiates disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or legal representatives.
• Manages litigated claims; develops litigation plan with counsel to ensure effective resolution.
