Job summary

Travelers is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve serious Construction Defect and Property Damage claims. You will provide expert guidance, manage litigation plans and ensure quality service to insureds and partners.

The role requires 10+ years of claim handling with expertise in complex liability, coverage analysis and negotiation; travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Property/Casualty license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned severe claims and manage full lifecycle of complex claims.
• Perform coverage analysis and communicate with insureds.
• Lead investigations with internal/external partners and experts.
• Negotiate settlements and develop litigation plans with counsel.
• Monitor claim files for quality, reserves and timely disclosures.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
