Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• 2 years liability claim handling experience recommended.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of coverage, liability and damages analysis.
• Ability to manage complex claims independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned severe claims.
• Provide timely and accurate coverage analysis and communication with insured.
• Investigate claims with appropriate parties to determine liability and damages.
• Coordinate with internal/external resources for claim evaluation.
• Maintain claim files and documentation per procedures.
• Establish reserves and manage indemnity/expense exposure.
• Negotiate dispositions with insureds or legal representatives.
