Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Estimator to perform cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and cost research for construction projects. You will utilize Timberline for OPCCs, assist in bid day activities and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related field and 3 years of related experience. Travel may be required; roles may involve on-site work in a variety of project settings.

• 3 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) and design-build projects.
• Coordinate bids, RFI processes and subcontractor pricing; support pre-bid activities.
