Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate our most complex construction defect claims. This is a 100% in-office position requiring on-site work during standard business hours at a designated company office.

You will lead a claims team, analyze complex cases, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and drive profitability through data-driven loss management and collaboration with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain additional licenses within 120 days.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at the highest authority limits with significant technical complexity.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report to senior management and underwriters on claims trends and developments.
• Analyze claims forms, endorsements and client instructions to determine coverage.
• Negotiate highly complex settlement packages within scope of authority.
