Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to work from multiple offices or remotely, with on-site presence required in designated locations. The role focuses on adjudicating the most complex construction defect claims and driving profitable outcomes for our clients.

You will lead a talented team, collaborate across teams, and maintain exceptional client service while ensuring accuracy in claims handling and settlement negotiations.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience adjudicating commercial general liability claims beyond the minimum experience required may substitute in lieu of a degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain additional licenses within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high complexity and authority limits.
• Analyze claims forms, policies, endorsements and client instructions to determine coverage.
• Manage claims in litigation and coordinate resources for case resolution.
• Prepare reports for file documentation and maintain timely diary tasks.
• Negotiate highly complex settlement packages within authority.
