Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate our most complex construction defect claims from full-time in-office locations or fully remote, except where prohibited. This role strengthens our culture, drives profitability, and requires leadership in claims handling.

The candidate will lead a team, analyze claims, reserve appropriately, and collaborate with clients and underwriters to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree required; insurance designations or additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions and ability to obtain others within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority levels with complex technical issues.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation.
• Report to senior management on claims trends and developments; identify loss drivers.
