Qualifications

• Ability to obtain additional licenses in multiple jurisdictions within 120 days of hire.
• Must have strong business acumen and understand how an insurance company operates.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at the highest authority limits.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Analyze claims forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverage.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly with involved parties.
• Manage claims in litigation and set reserves to reflect policy wordings.
