Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate highly complex construction defect claims from offices nationwide or remotely where permitted. In-office presence is required in designated locations, with a strong emphasis on team culture and profitability.

The role requires leadership in handling the most challenging claims, extensive analysis, and collaboration with underwriters and clients to achieve optimal financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; two or more designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability within 120 days to obtain other licenses where required.

Responsabilités

• Adjudicate construction defect claims with high technical complexity and significant impact.
• Gather information, analyze and investigate to resolve issues.
• Report trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Review forms, endorsements, and client instructions to assess coverage.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly with involved parties.
• Manage claims in litigation and diarize tasks for timely resolutions.
• Set reserves considering policy wording impacts and reserving processes.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce claims frequency and severity.
