Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000+.
• Bachelor's degree required; designations or additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions with ability to obtain others within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with complex technical needs.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
• Analyze forms, endorsements and claims to determine policy coverage.
• Investigate claims, interview involved parties, and manage litigation when needed.
• Set reserves and coordinate resources for case resolution.
• Negotiate complex settlements within authority; guide claims to optimal financial outcomes.
