Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years may substitute for the degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain licenses in each required jurisdiction within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with significant technical complexity.
• Report to senior management on claims trends and developments.
• Analyze claims, policies, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage and outcomes.
• Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing involved parties.
• Manage claims in litigation and ensure timely resolution and proper reserves.
