Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks an experienced Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s new business intake, conflicts analysis, and risk management efforts. The role ensures data accuracy, conducts conflicts searches, and prepares detailed reports to aid conflicts attorneys and management.

The ideal candidate combines research and analytical skills with judgment and attention to detail in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years corporate/legal experience preferred.
• Experience conducting corporate or legal research.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client-service oriented.
• Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review new business intake requests for accuracy; conduct corporate research on clients and related parties.
• Perform conflicts searches, analyze results, and prepare reports for Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management.
• Assist with resolving conflicts issues across processes including patent prosecution, docketing, vendors, and change forms.
• Review engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines to identify deviations and propose revisions.
• Assist with audit letters; draft, distribute, and track conflict consent documents.
• Support ethical wall processes by preparing screening memoranda and setting up screens in Intapp Walls.
• Maintain conflicts database integrity through data reconciliation, cleanup, testing and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, jurisdictional requirements and Firm policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
