Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a seasoned Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s new business intake, conflicts analysis, and risk management efforts. You will ensure data accuracy, conduct conflicts searches, and prepare reports to aid Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management in resolving potential conflicts of interest.

The role requires strong research, analysis, and judgment, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of corporate experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and a commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Review new business intake requests for accuracy and completeness, including corporate research on clients and related parties.
• Perform conflicts searches, analyze results, and prepare reports for Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management.
• Assist with resolving conflicts issues involving established processes, including patent prosecution, portfolio work, docketing, vendors, reopening requests, and change forms.
• Review engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines to identify deviations from Firm policies and recommend revisions.
• Assist with firm audit letters and collaborate on drafting, distributing, and tracking conflict consent documentation.
• Support ethical wall processes by preparing screening memoranda, setting up screens in Intapp Walls, and monitoring potential screening violations.
• Maintain conflicts database integrity through data reconciliation, cleanup, testing, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ethical standards, jurisdictional requirements, and Firm policies.
