Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s new business intake, conflicts analysis, and risk management efforts. This role ensures accuracy of data, conducts conflicts searches, and prepares detailed reports to assist Conflicts Attorneys and department leadership in identifying and resolving potential conflicts of interest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in corporate experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Experience conducting corporate, legal, or related research.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with conflicts analysis or new business intake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review new business intake requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform conflicts searches, analyze results, and prepare reports for Conflicts Attorneys and Department Management.
• Assist with resolving conflicts issues involving established processes and related forms.
• Review engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines to identify deviations and suggest revisions.
• Assist with audit letters and draft conflict consent documentation.
• Support ethical wall processes by preparing screening memoranda and setting up screens in Intapp Walls.
• Maintain conflicts database integrity through data reconciliation, cleanup, testing, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, jurisdictional requirements, and Firm policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
