The role includes drafting waivers and advising on withdrawal and screening, while managing a heavy workload with minimal supervision.

You will lead training on conflicts issues, coordinate with firm lawyers, and provide strategic legal advice on complex ethics matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and bar admission in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of practice experience and 2+ years as Conflicts Attorney or senior ethics role.
• Strong knowledge of professional responsibility and ethics in multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze conflicts of interest on new business, mergers, and lateral hires.
• Draft waivers and engagement letters; advise on withdrawal and conflicts resolution.
• Manage a large workload with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Provide training on conflicts issues and act as a strategic advisor to lawyers.
• Research complex issues and prepare memoranda for firm committees.
