Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support VA applications and lead CM initiatives in a remote environment. You will develop CM tooling, implement build and release procedures, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring compliant, repeatable deployments across projects for a regulated federal setting.

Applicants should bring deep CM, CI/CD, scripting, and IaC experience with a focus on reliability and security for government-related work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex software builds and releases across environments.
• Deep CM and release engineering expertise in regulated/federal settings.
• Knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software.
• Perform CM and release tasks to document parameters and ensure compliant deployments.
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools for software modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures to support product development and use.
• Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts/engineers.
• Ensure repeatable build and deployment processes across projects.
