Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support VA applications, lead CM tooling, and migrate to cloud environments. This remote, full-time role requires strong CM and release engineering experience in regulated settings and a US citizen with a Public Trust clearance.

You will design and implement build procedures, train developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliant, repeatable builds and deployments across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in software configuration management in large enterprises or federal contexts.
• Strong CM and release engineering expertise required.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and QA, systems engineering, and build reproducibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement CM tooling for identification, baselining, change control, and reporting.
• Oversee builds/releases across multiple environments with compliant processes.
• Develop automation scripts and productivity tools to support software modeling and development.
• Set up and maintain build procedures for product development and deployment.
• Train developers on CM tools and quality standards and mentor junior team members.
