Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst II to support VA applications, spearhead cloud migration, and establish robust configuration management practices in a remote work setup.

You will lead complex builds and releases across environments, design automation tools, teach CM standards to developers, and ensure compliant, repeatable deployment processes in a large federal setting.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in configuration management and release engineering.
Experience leading complex software builds and releases across multiple environments.
Deep knowledge of CM processes: identification, baselining, change control, status accounting.

Responsibilities

Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud.
Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
Perform CM and release tasks to ensure documented, compliant builds and predictable deployments.
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
Lead build procedures to support software product development and use.
Develop CM standards for company-wide use.
Train developers in CM tools and quality practices.
Provide guidance and solutions for complex problems.
Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts/engineers.
