Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst - II to support VA applications, drive the migration to the cloud, and lead software configuration management initiatives.

The role develops CM tools, implements build procedures, trains developers, and ensures compliant, repeatable deployment across projects. Strong CM, scripting, and DevOps experience are required for success.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership delivering complex builds/releases in regulated environments.
• Strong CM, release engineering, and software configuration management experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, and artifact repositories.
• Knowledge of DevOps, QA, and systems engineering practices.
• Experience with scripting for automation and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to mentor and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM and release activities across multiple projects and environments.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, and reporting.
• Design build procedures and ensure scalable deployment processes.
• Train developers on CM tools and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and teams.
• Provide guidance and solutions for complex technical problems.
