Job summary

McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Concrete) to lead major self-perform concrete projects from inception through deployment. You’ll oversee resources, tasks, timelines, cost and scope to ensure profitable outcomes.

The role emphasizes client relationships, collaboration with owners, design partners and subcontractors, mentoring of staff, and promoting McGough standards across multiple sites, with possible overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years managing large and/or simultaneous projects, including concrete self-perform.
• Strong partnerships with owners, owner’s representatives, design firms, and subcontractors.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit, Preconstruction and Business Development: Take lead in responding to RFPs and interviews.
• Manage project financials, including fee retention and profitability.
• Lead/coordinate schedules, resources and subcontractor coordination.
• Owner’s representative relationships and client satisfaction.
• Mentor project management staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Attend project and safety meetings and provide timely documentation.
