McGough Construction CO, LLC seeks a skilled construction professional to support pursuit, preconstruction, and project delivery across multiple jobsites and offices. You will assist with RFQs, RFPs, CPM schedules, and budget development while coordinating with owners, designers, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes leadership in QA/QC, scheduling, and documentation, with the ability to travel for regional meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• 5+ years of related experience including concrete self-perform projects.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating with design firms and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with external partners.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Research prospective clients.
• Assist pursuit team in completing responses to RFQs and RFPs.
• Participate in pursuit interviews.
• Assist with and participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Provide management and leadership to ensure successful completion of QA/QC page turn process.
• Understand project-specific workforce and vendor participation goals and incorporate into project work plan.
• Understand quantity take-offs and assist in estimating labor production, materials and equipment.
• Understand warehouse equipment, rentals, small tools, services and costs.
• Gather information or assist with labor and project forecast preparation and reporting, including production tracking.
• Scope bid materials (concrete, rebar, brick, etc.).
• Assist with creating CPM schedules for our work.
• Review estimates prepared by project managers and estimating.
• Lead estimate presentation to owner/design team.
• Review proposed subcontractors prior to presenting to owner.
• Final review/sign subcontractors.
• Co-lead Last Planner efforts with field staff.
• Attend project and safety meetings.
• Attend weekly work plan meetings.
• Document construction coordination meetings.
• Attend pre-installation meetings and mock-up reviews.
• Provide monthly project forecast reports.
• Prepare documentation for close-out.
