Job summary

McGough is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects with a focus on concrete self-perform work in the Upper Midwest. The role includes pursuit, preconstruction, and business development activities to drive successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in construction management and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong collaboration, scheduling, and communication skills to manage diverse teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• 5+ years of related experience, specifically including concrete self-perform projects.
• Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships with owner’s representatives, design firms, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Research prospective clients.
• Assist pursuit team in completing responses to RFQs and RFPs.
• Participate in pursuit interviews and preconstruction meetings.
• Provide management and leadership to ensure successful completion of QA/QC page turn process.
• Understand project-specific workforce and vendor participation goals and incorporate into project work plan.
