Job summary

McGough in Minnesota is seeking a Project Manager (Concrete) to lead complex concrete projects from pursuit through closeout, coordinating with owners, design partners, and subcontractors. You will develop CPM schedules, manage self-performed concrete work, and guide estimating, procurement, and document control.

Ideal candidates have a CM degree and 5+ years' experience, strong communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• 5+ years of related experience, specifically including concrete self-perform projects.
• Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and trust with external partners, including owners, owner's representatives, design firms, and subcontractors
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Thorough and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
• Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills, including Excel

Responsibilities

• Pursuit and preconstruction of projects; support responses to RFQs and RFPs.
• Manage McGough Self-Performed Work including quantity take-offs and estimating labor.
• Develop CPM schedules and coordinate with field staff.
• Lead project documentation, RFI process, shop drawings, and BIM coordination.
• Subcontract management: pricing, change requests, and invoices.
• Cost control and monthly IBM forecasts; pay applications.
• Attend project and safety meetings; participate in start-up and close-out activities.
• Pursue new client relationships and lead business development activities.
