Job summary

Travelers is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve and resolve assigned serious specialty claims. You will ensure quality handling throughout the claim life cycle, including coverage analysis, negotiation and resolution, in accordance with internal standards and state regulations.

Ideal candidates will have extensive bodily injury litigation experience, advanced knowledge of the litigation process, and the ability to manage complex claims with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Four years bodily injury litigation claim handling experience or comparable claim litigation experience.
• Advanced understanding of the litigation process in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle assigned severe claims with substantial FDV.
• Provide quality customer service and timely coverage analysis.
• Investigate claims with policyholders, accounts, claimants, and experts.
• Develop litigation plans with staff or panel counsel; manage discovery and expenses.
• Maintain claim files and ensure adherence to quality standards.
