Job summary

Clearbrook Group Services Inc. in Omaha is seeking a Complex Claims Specialist to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex general liability and some commercial auto claims.

This is a 100% in‑office role, with the Omaha office as the primary site and Albany as an approved alternate location. The ideal candidate has at least five years of complex claims experience, a bachelor’s degree, state licensing or ability to obtain, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge to adjudicate complex high-exposure auto bodily injury and GL claims.
• Minimum of five years' experience in adjudicating complex and high-exposure claims.
• Bachelor's degree required; state licensing or ability to obtain quickly.
• License considerations: Licensed Claims Examiner in applicable jurisdictions; continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex and high-exposure GL/Bodily Injury and PD claims with potential large impact.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and build lasting client relationships.
• Analyze claims forms, policies, and endorsements to determine coverage.
• Secure statements and document activity; manage diary and deadlines.
• Present evaluations with settlement recommendations to upper management.
• Attend mediations when required; coordinate experts for case resolution.
