Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of two years' experience adjudicating claims, preferably general liability and auto.
• Must obtain necessary state licenses and CE requirements.
• Must have good business acumen and understand insurance company mechanics.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant matters.
• Strong execution, solution-focused, and client-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
• Desire for continued professional development through CE and self-development.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate first‑party property damage claims with direct impact on results.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and develop lasting insured/broker relationships.
• Analyze policies to determine coverage and loss facts; investigate thoroughly.
• Manage reserves, escalation, and coordination of resources for resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within authority; prepare claims for committee review.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal reserving policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
