Job summary

Farm Family in Omaha is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our team and handle investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of commercial auto claims, primarily in the Northeastern United States. This is an in‑office role, with work performed five days a week to reinforce culture and profitability.

The position reports to an Albany-based manager and may be filled from Albany. Candidates must manage complex losses, coordinate with counsel and experts, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Two years or more claims adjudication experience required.
• Must obtain and maintain state licenses and CE requirements.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how insurances work.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate serious commercial auto bodily injury claims of higher complexity.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and develop client relationships with insureds and brokers.
• Analyze claims forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverage.
• Investigate claims promptly, interviewing parties to determine facts.
• Coordinate reserves, inspections, and experts as needed for case resolution.
• Prepare reports and communicate trends to management and underwriters.
