Job summary

Farm Family in Omaha (with Albany option) seeks a Complex Claim Specialist to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle high-exposure general liability claims, including some auto claims. This in-office role requires strong analytical skills and decisive risk assessment.

You will manage coverage reviews, speak with insureds, claimants, and witnesses, coordinate experts, and supervise settlements within authority while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience adjudicating complex and high-exposure third-party general liability bodily injury and property damage claims.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; substitutions may apply.
• Licensed Claims Examiner; must be licensed or able to obtain license within 120 days.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex and high-exposure third-party general liability and auto claims with potential large losses.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and build lasting relationships with insureds and brokers.
• Review policies, endorsements, and coverage to determine liability; coordinate reserves and settlements.
• Maintain diaries and ensure timely resolution; document file activity clearly.
