Job summary

Farm Family is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our Omaha office, with the option to work from Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, or Richmond offices. This 100% in-office role focuses on investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of general liability claims, including some commercial auto claims, within established authority and regulatory guidelines.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of claims experience, strong negotiation and client-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two years' claims experience preferred.
• Must obtain state licenses and maintain CE requirements.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate third-party bodily injury and property damage claims.
• Investigate claims, assess coverage, and determine reserves.
• Negotiate loss settlements with customers or counsel.
• Coordinate experts and review documentation for settlements.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and procedures.
