Job summary

Argo Group's Farm Family unit in Omaha is seeking a Complex Claims Specialist to join our in-office team. The role covers investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of complex and high-exposure general liability claims, including some commercial auto claims, with emphasis on coverage assessment and effective communication with insureds, claimants, and witnesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience adjudicating complex general liability and high-exposure auto claims.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Licensed Claims Examiner; must be licensed or able to obtain license where required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex high-exposure GL/auto claims, including fatalities.
• Evaluate coverage, reserve appropriately, negotiate settlements.
• Interact with insureds, claimants, brokers; coordinate with defense counsel.
• Attend mediations; manage diaries and timely resolutions.
