Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a senior technical expert to lead resolution strategies for high-severity D&O and E&O claims on a national scale. You will work with insureds, counsel, and senior leadership to drive outcomes and manage complex litigation and settlements.

The role involves ownership of claims, budget management, and mentorship of junior professionals within a fast-paced environment. A strong regulatory and policy-interpretation background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically a minimum ten years of relevant experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory of the most complex Public D&O and Financial Institutions E&O claims.
• Verifies coverage and reserves per policy language.
• Leads investigations to determine compensability, liability and damages.
• Drives resolution by collaborating with internal and external partners to develop strategy.
• Manages significant claim budgets and resources.
• Prepares executive loss summaries for senior leadership.
