Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a senior technical expert to lead complex D&O and E&O claims involving public companies and financial institutions. This individual contributor role works with senior leadership to resolve high-stakes matters on a national scale and mentor less experienced professionals.

You will manage multi-year claims, coordinate with counsel and experts, and ensure timely, compliant resolutions while maintaining reserves and budget integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; JD preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum ten years of relevant claims experience in specialty insurance.
• Must obtain/maintain Insurance Adjuster License where applicable.
• Advanced negotiation experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex Public D&O and Financial Institutions E&O claims with multi-year exposure.
• Drives exceptional customer service and achieves quality and cycle-time standards.
• Verifies coverage and manages reserves per policy language.
• Leads focused investigations to determine compensability and damages.
• Develops and executes claim resolution strategies with internal/external partners.
• Manages significant claim budgets and resources for timely resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and potential fraud for referrals.
• Presents high-profile information to senior leadership and stakeholders.
