Job summary

Schneider National in Green Bay seeks a Senior Compensation Specialist to administer manual pay processes using diverse systems. The role validates pay, audits entries, calculates amounts, and ensures timely, accurate payroll.

You will audit pay setups, create reporting datasets, analyze discrepancies, and collaborate to maintain pay grades and rate tables, while testing new configurations before production.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll, customer service, operations, recruiting or human resources.
• Proficiency with Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas and charts.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify process deficiencies and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Audit pay setup to ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Create and maintain datasets for reporting across intervals.
• Analyze pay discrepancies and advise leaders on corrective actions.
• Collaborate to ensure pay grades and rate tables are created, maintained, and accurate.
• Make recommendations to strengthen pay processes and support changes.
• Test new configurations in a test environment.
