Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst to lead market analyses, benchmark salaries, and guide pay decisions in a remote-friendly, national US setting. You will partner with HR business partners, manage merit cycles, and ensure data integrity across HRIS systems to support fair and competitive compensation practices.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Human Resources with compensation focus.
• Experience compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data with spreadsheets.
• Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Ability to translate data into actionable compensation recommendations.
• Experience with salary benchmarking and internal equity analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compensation market analysis and prepare reports.
• Evaluate internal pay equity and provide salary recommendations for offers and promotions.
• Develop compensation recommendations based on market data and organizational structure.
• Administer annual merit reviews and coordinate processes.
• Collaborate with HR teams on changes and adjustments.
• Analyze compensation programs and propose improvements for fairness and competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA classifications and regulations.
• Educate employees and leaders on compensation philosophy and practices.
• Contribute data for salary surveys and benchmarking.
• Evaluate benefits programs and cost-effectiveness.
• Support HR projects with timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Maintain data integrity in HRIS and audit for discrepancies.
• Provide analytical insights and clear stakeholder reports.
• Perform additional HR compensation and benefits duties as required.
