Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and on-site compliance across assigned properties. The role emphasizes HUD/Fair Housing/ADA compliance, tenant relations, and revenue performance.

You will lead a property management team, coordinate with compliance, and ensure timely certifications and reporting while driving resident outcomes and value.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification required or preferred.
• Experience in Affordable Housing and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Oversee on-site operations and compliance activities for assigned properties.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Regional Managers on enforcement and remediation.
• Prepare REAC, MOR, LIHTC reviews and annual/interim recertifications.
• Manage rent collection, delinquencies, and evictions.
• Monitor budgets, readings, inspections, and vendor bids.
