Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a skilled Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and on-site compliance for a property. You will manage leasing, enforcement of HUD/FAIR HOUSING/ADA requirements, and coordinate maintenance and vendor activities to ensure peak performance and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include regulatory reporting, inspections, rent collections, and collaboration with construction and compliance teams to prevent violations and support ongoing renovations.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to leasing laws and HUD/FAIR HOUSING/ADA/FCRA requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook and coordinate responses with Compliance.
• Coordinate vendor bids, supervise maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare site inspections, MORs, LIHTC reviews, and recertifications.
• Manage rent collections, delinencies, and evictions when needed.
• Assist tenants with requests and respond to questions and complaints.
• Monitor budgets, attend monthly financial meetings, and report on building needs.
