Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm, is seeking a strong Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, on-site compliance, and overall property performance at one of our properties. The role emphasizes regulatory adherence, revenue management, vendor coordination, and resident satisfaction within an affordable housing portfolio.

Responsibilities include ensuring HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA compliance, managing REAC/MOR/LIHTC reviews, and reporting on budgets and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification required or preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience is a plus.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• TCS certification for tax credit properties is preferred.
• Experience in Affordable Housing is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA leasing laws.
• Oversee site compliance and coordinate with Compliance Department.
• Prepare for REAC reviews, MOR, LIHTC reviews, and annual/interim recertifications.
• Manage tenant inquiries, arrears, and evictions processes.
• Direct maintenance, coordinate vendor bids, and oversee inspections.
• Monitor budgets and participate in monthly financial meetings.
