Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Community Manager for one of its properties to oversee daily operations, lease compliance, and overall property performance. You will coordinate with Compliance and Regional teams to ensure regulatory alignment and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes HUD/FH/ADA compliance, managing rent collections, inspections, and vendor bids, with focus on operational efficiency and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to leasing laws including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Coordinate with Compliance Department for regulatory responses and interventions.
• Prepare and review REAC, MOR, LIHTC, and annual/interim recertifications.
• Monitor rents, delinquencies, and coordinate evictions as needed.
• Conduct unit inspections and walkthroughs with the Building Superintendent.
• Manage vendor bids, contractor quotes, and building maintenance planning.
