Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP. You will define scope, estimates, and schedules, coordinating with Preconstruction, Engineering, SCADA, and Field Operations to ensure a unified commissioning baseline across projects nationwide.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, rigorous planning, and clear client communications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in commissioning utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts and commissioning exhibits.
• Experience developing commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans.
• Strong PV, BESS, HV, and SCADA commissioning interfaces.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive decisions.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Experience in EPC preconstruction or commissioning contract administration is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream through BD to LNTP.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple SMEs to align scope, estimates, and schedules.
• Review EPC contracts focusing on commissioning obligations.
• Develop and present SOLV's commissioning requirements to clients.
• Maintain a commissioning requirements register with due dates.
• Handoff to CPM and Portfolio Delivery with all docs.
