Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to drive deposit and loan growth within the market. You will lead sales calls to business customers, high-net-worth clients, and prospects, delivering tailored banking solutions while aligning with Ameris’ vision, values, and risk controls.

You will manage a large loan and deposit portfolio, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with banking policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of Commercial Banking experience or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and related training or experience is required.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of regulatory banking compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify business development opportunities and make sales calls to existing clients and prospects.
• Maintain the quality, profitability and growth of products through appropriate pricing and fees.
• Service a portfolio of clients and act as banking consultant to understand needs and provide consultative solutions.
• Apply need-based sales techniques to attract, expand and retain customer relationships.
• Maintain and service a portfolio with emphasis on deposits and loan opportunities.
• Prepare and present accurate loan information for loan committee review.
