You will oversee portfolio maintenance, pricing decisions, and lead business development efforts to attract and expand client relationships.

The role involves presenting loan commitments to executive management, mentoring junior staff, and driving cross-selling opportunities while ensuring adherence to bank policies

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing a commercial loan portfolio with proven sales ability and business development.
• Knowledge of pricing models as it relates to profitability of lending unit.
• Fully developed understanding of lending and credit approval process as well as bank policies and external regulations.
• Knowledge of sales principles.
• Detailed knowledge of credit analysis practice and procedure.
• In-depth knowledge of products and services offered by financial services institutions.
• Strong analysis, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills.

Responsabilidades

• Portfolio management and pricing decisions within credit authority.
• Recommendations for credit approval to Senior Loan Committee.
• Cross-selling referrals.
• Recommend promotional sponsorships to senior management.
• Maximizes the department’s profitability through the maintenance of a high-quality loan portfolio.
• Has a leadership role in the bank’s business development activities and expands relationships through the call program.
• Provides guidance to, and may manage, less experienced relationship managers.
• Maintain professional community relations to increase visibility and new business opportunities.
