Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Senior Development Specialist for Commercial Print to lead solution development, justification, and executive-level sales support for production inkjet products.

You will present dynamic demonstrations, drive strategic prospecting, and guide Account Executives to close complex opportunities. The role requires 10+ years in capital equipment sales to commercial print, strong C-Level engagement, and a proven ability to win multi-million dollar deals with Fortune 1000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required with 10 years related experience.
• Capital Equipment sales experience selling to commercial print is required.
• Sheet Fed Offset sale experience a plus.
• B2 Digital Press selling experience a plus.
• Consultative sales experience in digital color document printing and Fortune 1000 companies.
• Experience selling high speed page printers or printer accessories and forms.
• Experience establishing relationships with C-Level decision makers.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and demonstration skills with team-selling ability.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Extensive travel throughout the territory, including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plans to achieve territory quota and maximize long-term account revenue for Production Inkjet.
• Mentors Account Executives on prospecting, forecasting opportunities.
• Develops and delivers dynamic customer presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
• Leads the sales cycle by assessing and recommending color document workflow environments.
• Drives prospecting activities to support sales management.
• Manages complex sales cycles with a consultative approach.
• Engages C-Level executives to understand business objectives and show value of solutions.
• Acts as subject matter and competitive expert.
• Supports division's largest customers with solution development and sale of production inkjet products.
