Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Senior Development Specialist - Commercial Print to drive strategic account plans and lead executive-level engagements in the Production Inkjet space.

The role focuses on top revenue accounts, delivering compelling demos and proposals that showcase business value and color workflow optimization. You will mentor Account Executives, coordinate team selling, and travel extensively within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 10 years of related experience.
• Capital Equipment sales to commercial print; Sheet Fed Offset and B2 Digital Press a plus.
• Consultative sales in the digital color document printing marketplace and Fortune 1000 companies.
• Experience selling high-speed page printers or printer accessories and forms.
• Proven ability to establish and develop relationships with C-Level decision makers.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and demonstration skills with team-selling ability.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plans to achieve territory quota and maximize long-term revenue opportunities for Production Inkjet.
• Mentors Account Executives on prospecting and forecasting opportunities.
• Develops and delivers dynamic presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
• Leads sales cycle by assessing and recommending color document workflow solutions.
• Drives prospecting activities to support sales management.
• Manages complex sales cycles with a consultative selling approach.
• Engages C-Level executives to demonstrate business value through analytics and justification.
• Acts as subject matter and competitive expert.
• Supports top customers with solution development and sale of production inkjet products.
