Job summary

Regions Bank in Hoover, Alabama is seeking a Commercial Loan Fulfillment Team Manager to lead a loan fulfillment team, ensuring accuracy in credit and documentation, and guiding the team on policy compliance. The role requires oversight of due diligence, staff training, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, with exposure to bonus plans and a market-driven compensation range based on location and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of loan fulfillment, loan processing or related work experience.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of loan fulfillment, loan processing or related experience.
• Knowledge of commercial credit, regulatory (including BSA/AML, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, Flood Regulations) and loan documentation policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and expertise for items related to credit and loan documentation policies, closing due diligence, regulatory requirements and loan systems.
• Resolves escalated or complex issues as necessary.
• Ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures.
• Serves as a primary contact for business partners regarding questions or concerns with team performance or transactional issues.
• Contributes to process improvement and risk management strategies.
• Manages the day-to-day production and scheduling of their respective team.
• Provides coaching and support to staff, including regular team meetings and coaching sessions.
• Performs general management duties including staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and terminations.
• Manages team performance metrics such as production, capacity, quality assurance and document exceptions.
