Qualifications

• Two years of related financial services industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and reviews loan documents for high complexity commercial loans in a multi-state environment.
• Engages with deal team on forecasting loan pipeline activity and provides due diligence requirements as loans are assigned.
• Reviews attorney-prepared loan packages for syndicated loans, often with Regions as agent bank.
• Understands risks associated with closing various types of commercial loans.
• Obtains necessary documents to evidence debt and secure the loan.
• Ensures loan closure aligns with loan approvals and policy.
• Identifies issues related to documentation, policy or regulatory requirements and remediates before closing.
• Communicates with business partners throughout the closing process.]
• Complies with departmental performance metrics.
• Contributes to risk mitigation plans.
• Understands client needs and opportunities to improve and resolve client service issues related to commercial credit.
• Provides client service for loan products.
• Addresses loan setup issues promptly to ensure system data integrity.
• Collaborates with Real Estate Banking, Regions Equipment Finance, and other segments.
• Supports booking of loans, disbursement of funds, and packaging of loan documentation.
